to rescue dogs from our local humane societies rehabilitate and train them to become service dogs to assist our local disabled veterans first responders and children with disabilities. The mission is to help the disabled lead more normal lives by having our service dogs help them 24 7.

To improve the lives of companion animals through animal welfare, spay/neuter, and community outreach programs.

We raise funds by selling donated goods. These funds benefit animal welfare efforts including the issuance of grants to 501c3 non-profit organizations engaged in the rescue of animals from abuse, abandonment and neglect in South Carolina. We also assist financially in situations where animals need veterinary care. We educate the public on animal welfare issues and encourage spay/neuter, vaccinations and proper health care.

Support Hootie and Blowfish Foundation which makes grants to organizations that: Develop competencies and skills enabling individuals to live fuller, more productive lives; leverage other funding through use of matching grants; promote cooperation of two or more agencies to avoid duplication of services and to coordinate resources and programs,provide opportunities for children who may not have strong families or community advocates; demonstrate systems or approaches that can prevent individual, family, or community problems.

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION/EDUCATION

THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION IS TO ESTABLISH A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION TO FUND AND EMPOWER THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK TO PREVENT ANIMALS FROM ENTERING THE SHELTER AND RESCUE SYSTEM. THE CORPORATION INFORMS OWNERS ABOUT THE ROOT CAUSES OF HOMELESSNESS, AS WELL AS THE PROPER AND HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, AND WORKS TO PROVIDE SOLUTIONS FOR BETTER CARE. THE CORPORATION HELPS PETS STAY WITH THEIR OWNERS, WHEN APPROPRIATE, AND OUT OF SHELTERS, AND ASSISTS OWNERS IN FINDING FREE OR LOW-COST SPAY AND NEUTER OPTIONS. THE CORPORATION PROVIDES GRANTS FOR WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS THAT IMPLEMENT PROGRAMMING TO PREVENT SUFFERING AND HOMELESSNESS IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY.
